This week has been a tough one for me and one that has required a lot of tea and keeping distracted. I had to say goodbye to the best friend I could ever ask for and that is why a pet is more than just a pet – it’s family. We got Millie when she was about 2 and I was about 8 or 9, I could not have imagined growing up without the fluffball in my life. Yes, picking the Millie hairs off of the black clothing was not always ideal (and rather amusing to watch when someone sat in her chair) but it was worth it. When I went to university I realised how much I loved, and missed, Millie; she had been there from breakups to bad news. From getting my university degree to getting my first job, Millie had been there through it all. ❤
I know that those of you out there that love your pet as much as do, will join me in celebrating your best friends with a #petselfie on Twitter and Instagram with their name and their favourite activity to do.
This was from 2013 but one of my all time favourite’s of Millie joining in the festive spirit with her little bow. Millie’s favourite activity was cuddles and sleeping in her cardboard box (yep, a box, standard).
