Where do I start with 2015? It wasn’t the easiest year for me but that were lots of great highlights too, so here are my top 5 moments of 2015.
Moving over to petitetealover.co.uk
I made my 1 year anniversary (whoop!) this year and decided that it was a good time to invest… why hello there petitetealover.co.uk!
There are so many blog highlights for me so it was hard just to pick the one but it would have to be Afternoon Tea at the Le Méridien Piccadilly where I met my two tea partners in crime Binny’s Kitchen and Cake + Whisky. Thank you to all for reading, following me and commenting – this blog wouldn’t be the same without you guys!
My weekend in Blackpool
I didn’t blog about this weekend but I did snapchat it (follow me for updates @petitetealover). It was like my own Strictly Come Dancing – fake tan included! It was my first major dance competition so to get through to our semi finals for our Waltz and 4th in the team match was amazing. So happy!
I’ve never been a baker, more of a cook. Most of my baking adventures normally get comments from the other half such as; what you burning this time or a mess of a recipe.. but no longer. I have made a few things this year, from my New Year’s Celebration Cupcakes and my Rudolph Red Nose Cupcakes (ahem, no I do not have an obsession with cupcakes, promise).
My fashion post
I love clothes, shoes and handbags – just basically anything to do with fashion but what is most important to me is sharing with you how I do it on a budget. This was a new direction for me but was overwhelmed by your response to my 3 ways to wear a sleeveless jacket from Topshop! Much love. Don’t worry there are more posts being planned for 2016.
Completing all of my 2015 goals and trying new things
Now most people call them resolutions but I like to be different and call them goals. There is a reason, honest. More often than not resolutions don’t last – they are lucky if they last more than a day! For me goals are about what you would like to have achieved by the end of the year and for 2015 I had three: Buy a car – check. Get a new job or promotion – check. Get to Blackpool for the dance competition – check. So according to my goals I had a successful 2015 and it’s such a satisfying feeling. So moving on to 2016 goals, what will they be…
1. Going to the gym regularly and specifically tone my core for dancing
2. Trying new things
I have decided to keep it to only two for 2016 as the second goal is quite a hefty one – and one I’ve already started with trying Indian at the amazing Lotus Restaurant near Leicester Square. Start as you mean to go on!
That’s it for 2015, hope you have a great one and see you in the New Year!
