Pale Foundations Rundown | High End

If you have seen my previous post, or watched our YouTube you will know I am bordering on ghostly in my complexion, in a previous post I revealed my favourite budget buys for foundations (and alluded to concealer and powder), however my everyday favourite is a higher end product so let’s reveal:

3) Urban Decay – Naked skin foundation (£28.50, John Lewis*)

My first dive into the high end foundation world wasn’t disappointing, it’s a lovely light coverage with good staying power.

2) Tarte – Amazonian Clay Tinted Moisturiser

This is a new buy (whilst in America) that’s rapidly become a firm favourite, it’s a very light coverage that evens the skin tone, best of all it matched my skin tone almost perfectly!

1) MAC – Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (£21.15, John Lewis*)

My all time favourite foundation, from the moment the women in the mac store colour matched me I knew I was going to love this foundation. The colour nw10 matches beautifully, it’s pretty high coverage but leaves a fantastic finish on the skin perfect for occasions and everyday.

Now as before I have a few honorable mentions, I really enjoy wearing Chanel perfection lumier velvet, and tarte’s rainforest of the sea, so they are pale approved, they just don’t quite make the favourites list.

Concealers: I love urban decay naked skin concealer and Nars creamy concealer.

Powder: The mac mineralise skin finish is top of the list, but closely followed by nars loose powder in snow!

Well there you have it, a list of firmly pale approved products for all occasions and budgets, so go forth my pale friends, embrace no more you’ve been tangoed moments!
